This is the scale exercise motherload: every relevant scale exercise I've ever heard of or thought of (without getting absurdly obscure and inapplicable) applied to C Major scale. 26 total exercises applied to C Major starting in 7th, 8th, and 9th position.
Each of these patterns and ideas can be applied to all of the modes of the Major scale. I chose to apply all these ideas to one scale so that the player can really digest the differences in the patterns and arpeggios as they relate to one scale.
Future blog posts will apply these ideas to the other 4 of the 5 main positions of the 7 modes of the Major scale.
These exercises should be played with a metronome or along with Guitar Pro. Start out slowly and gradually increase speed.
